I continue to improve daily.

Yesterday (Wednesday) I saw Dr. Shultzel (the surgeon) for a follow up. He removed half of the  (every other) staples. I inspected the wound site from the stoma and was pleased by the rate of healing. He then washed the sites with a Silver Nitrate solution to prevent infection.  Between the staple removal and wash I have been feeling it a bit more in the last day (itchy and a bit sore) but expect that it will pass.

I visited with some friends yesterday and otherwise just hung out with family.
