I have been home for a week now and I feel better every day.

I met with the Oncologist on Friday and she was pleased with the results of the surgery and our current plan is to have a PET scan at the end of October to assess my situation. The optimistic hope is that the PET scan shows no activity n the spots on my liver in which case we will proceed with a monitoring plan. If they show activity, then we will probably hit then with some form of chemotherapy, but not nearly as aggressive as the last bit.

I want to thank my sister Sandy for coming out to help these last nearly 3 weeks. She returned home today and my sister Kathy arrived for the next week. although I an pretty independent it is nice to have Mom here along with one of them to act as a safety net.
