Today was the start of treatment #10. My CBC analysis of my blood was good. ANC was up a few fractional points from last week and my white blood cell count is good. Last weeks draw showed that my Magnesium was still a bit low, so they hit me with a 2 hour infusion making the whole process about 7 hours today.
I discussed the last treatment date (July 4) and if we would bump it a week, of back 1 day. The NP was on board with doing it on July 3, so as long as the scheduler can fit me in on that day, I could be done with the chemo portion of the plan as soon as July 5.
I feel good, a bit too much energy due to the steroid that they inject me with during the treatment, but nothing new. My hands continue to dry out but with all of the fluids I took in today, they did pretty good except when I was driving and they were exposed to the sun. The sun temporarily aged them 50 years, looking like the hands of a 90 year old, or perhaps the crypt keeper.
