Extra day, nice!

So with the 1 week suspension of my treatment I get some extra days where I am on the healing side of the treatment schedule instead of the attack mode. I did some basic research to see how / what can be done to boost the platelet count and generally the suggestion was to eat more vegetables (primarily dark ones) possibly Kiwi fruit, and fish and / or chicken. So tonight for dinner I made fish (tilapia) and will pick up some (with hope) ripe Kiwis tomorrow.

Generally I feel good and hope to get into the home gym tomorrow to leverage this good feeling. I have been holding my weight to keep the doctor happy but want to start on a controlled loss regime again. Step one will be ridding the house of all the unhealthy carbs that have accumulated, but that will mean being even more disciplined in forcing myself to eat despite the lack of flavor caused by my lost taste buds.
