Today my Mom, sister and niece arrived from Pittsburgh for their one week visit. It has been nice seeing them all and I look forward to an enjoyable week.

Tomorrow is treatment 9. So far things have stayed pretty constant. I still have the annoying rash but it has not gotten significantly worse. The worst part of it being that it has started popping up in the lower abdomen. So far it has not compromised the barrier seal for my ostomy but I remain vigilant and have decided that although I have had success recently stretching the appliance to 4 or even 5 days, I will go more strict with a 3 day period to allow me to inspect the area more frequently and minimize the chance of a failure.
