My 1 day vacation was really nice. Not being wiped out from the treatment since it has been a week, it was definitely superior to the Wednesday treatment day off.

I was pointed to some information on disabling the discrete GPU on my 2011 MacBook Pro and using that technique, I have been able to bring it back to life. Too bad I did not know this 6 weeks ago, it could have saved me a lot of money. No matter, I am at least glad to get it up and running as a guest computer if nothing else.

Other than working on the old Mac, I spent the day watching some TV, reading and generally just chilling. It was a good recharge day.
