Today was another good day.  I woke up early enough (8AM) and donned my cycling shorts and headed to the garage for some spinning.  I got in a solid 30 minutes on the bike.  After the cycling I headed off to shower, and to change out the barrier which had gone nearly 4 days.

The great news is that the convex style barrier, upon removal and inspection had not started to fail and the slight irritation that I was feeling was most likely due to hairs growing back under the adhesive barrier.  I am still willing to give Hollister a chance with their convex barrier if the samples ever arrive, but come Monday I will be ordering a set of the Coloplast ones to use in the future. Their adhesive removal wipes are also far better than the primarily alcohol ones that I have been using,  The Coloplast version did not cause additional skin irritation upon use.  If all goes well, my commenting about barriers and leaking will be a thing of the past.

After my shower I headed to the movies to catch Black Panther, then had lunch and finally met up with a friend at Peet’s for coffee before heading home to relax for the evening.  I feel strong and healthy and am excited to find out how things are progressing once we get the CT scans.
