Success … well mostly.

Book club went off great.  We had a really good turnout and enough of the attendees participated to make it run pretty smoothly.  I am actually looking forward to the next one in six weeks.

The Coloplast convex barrier has held up for 18 hours now and hopefully will go the distance.  I definitely feel that the convex style is what I need so depending on how I feel about the Hollister  convex barrier, I will certainly be updating my supplies order to replace the flat style barriers with the convex.  The only drawback to the Coloplast one so far is that it is wider and that extra width makes it hit along the indentation left from my surgery.  Once that finishes healing it should go flat again, but for now the outer edge is not adhering well.  That outer edge is only important if the barrier itself fails, so it is not critical to the survivability of the barrier itself.  Otherwise the pouch is a little bit smaller than what I have been using, so I need to empty not more frequently.  That is probably a good thing since it reduces the weight and thus the pull on the adhesive, but it does require some extra planning during the day and for sleeping.

Work went pretty well.  We introduced the new design components to the team and they seem to understand what we are going for.  Hopefully I will get the diagrams updated before Monday when the will start implementing that design. With the number of engineers that we have working on the tasks, I expect to see it come together quickly.
