Today’s highlight was the turning in of the infusion pump and freedom from the box for another 10 days. The treatment went well so far and other than being tired, I still feel fine.
The cold sensitivity continues, and it doesn’t help that we are in a San Diego cold snap ( high temperature today was 55F and the low was 39F). Just going outside makes my hands go tingly and numb.
This was day 3 with the same barrier and it held up well. Hopefully when I change it out tomorrow I can break the Saturday curse and get another 3 days. I bought some skivvies designed for men with an ostomy that have a pouch built in to support the pouch so hopefully those will work well and get me a larger selection from my wardrobe. As comfortable as the track pants / high school gym teacher look is, it lacks a certain variety.
I am hoping to have enough energy tomorrow to spin on the bike for awhile and do some light resistance training. I will post a picture of the home gym tomorrow if I do.
